Hip Pain

At Vitalis, we specialise in expert assessment and treatment of hip pain, especially in young adults and use a systematic approach to identify the root cause of discomfort.

Our evaluations include a detailed history of your symptoms, thorough physical examination of your hip motion, ligamentous laxity, hip muscle strength, biomechanics, and movement patterns. We also assess surrounding areas like the lower back that may be contributing to symptoms, making us more than just a standard clinic.

If you’re dealing with femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), ligamentous laxity, snapping hip, iliopsoas or gluteal tendinopathy, mild dysplasia, or arthritis, our team can help. We’re also a leading groin pain clinic, offering insight and solutions when pain spans across complex regions of the pelvis and groin.

Our goal is not only to treat pain but to re-build movement that feels strong, stable, and natural. The hip joint endures immense forces during walking and running. That’s why we use soft tissue release, dry needling, and, most importantly, strength-based rehab and exercise therapy to build lasting stability.

Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP)

PGP can significantly impact your comfort and function, particularly during and after pregnancy. At Vitalis, our gentle hands-on therapy combined with strength and movement-based rehab has helped many regain comfort and confidence.

Pregnancy often leaves the body vulnerable to injury, especially if you’ve experienced PGP. Our approach ensures that your return to running or sport is guided by sensible, structured plans focused on long-term strength and movement quality.

We don't just treat pain, we support your journey to reclaiming a life of active, pain-free movement. Vitalis is your partner in recovery.

Groin Pain

Are you struggling with pain around the pelvis and groin?

Pelvic and groin pain can be persistent, complex and deeply disruptive but it’s also highly treatable with the right management.

The pelvis is like a circle and is an area of complex force transfer. It must withstand high forces involved with movements we take for granted such as walking or running.  Pain can often occur in more than one area around the pelvis because of it’s complex biomechanics.

Our assessment will help identify the underlying cause of your symptoms such as adductor related groin pain, hip related groin pain, lower abdominal related groin pain, pubic bone overload, ilopsoas pathology or pubic bone stress injury.  There may be more than one pathology present, this is often a factor missed in standard care.

A detailed history of your symptoms will be taken as well as a thorough physical examination.

As the groin area is subjected to such high forces during walking, running, sprinting or kicking a ball, rehab is usually focused on building muscle mass around the hip, pelvis and lower abdominals to re-establish stability and efficient movement. Our goal is not just to treat pain, but to re-build movement that feels natural, stable and strong.
