Neck Pain & Headache

Neck Pain

Neck pain has been described as a fact of life.  Physiotherapy is essential for relieving neck pain and restoring movement. Whether you are recovering from surgery, dealing with stiffness, poor posture, disc issues or nerve related pain, our approach uses evidence based techniques such as manual therapy, soft tissue release, dry needling, targeted exercise programmes and postural re-training to restore normal, pain free movement.

Headache

Headaches often originate from problems in the neck and spine. Physiotherapy offers a targeted approach by treating trigger points at the top of your neck that refer pain to your head. We can also treat joint stiffness in the high cervical spine that contributes to pain.  These headaches often stem from years of poor posture, muscle imbalances or restricted movement in the cervical spine.  Our expert approach uses manual therapy, postural re-training and strength training to muscles around the shoulder girdle and neck to offload your neck.  By restoring normal movement and function we can not only alleviate current symptoms but also help prevent future headaches allowing you to enjoy life without headaches.
